Project Registration and License Issuance

Q1. Do I need to register a project before using downloaded content?

A1. Yes. Project registration is required for the following reasons:

  • GoodPello manages usage licenses strictly on a per-project basis.
  • Each template can only be used within the scope of the project it is registered under.
  • When you register a project and download a template, a project-specific license document is automatically issued.
This document serves as official proof of your usage rights and can be used as evidence in case of any disputes.

Using content without assigning it to a registered project is considered a license violation,
so please ensure that a project is registered before use.

Q2. How are licenses issued?

A2. The license is issued automatically at the moment you download a template and register it to a project.
All issued licenses can be viewed and downloaded at:
[My Downloads > View All Licenses]

  • Each license has a unique license number tied to a specific project.
  • No additional approval or verification process is required.

Q3. Can I use the same content for multiple projects?

A3. Yes—but with conditions.
GoodPello follows a “One Template = One Project” licensing principle.

This means:

  • Even if it is the same template, you must register a new project and receive a separate license for every new usage case.

Examples:

Usage ScenarioUsage Status
Using the same template for two different projects (e.g., “Annual Business Plan” → “Investor IR Pitch”)✔ Allowed — Requires registering a new project & license
Reusing a template in a project that is not registered at all✘ Not allowed — License violation

Q4. If I already downloaded a template once, do I need to download it again for each project?

A4. No. You can reuse the existing file.

If you want to use the same template for a different project:

  1. Go to My Downloads
  2. Find the template you previously downloaded
  3. Click “View All Licenses”
  4. Select “+ Add New Project”
  5. Enter a project name and confirm

A new license will be issued, but the template file does not need to be downloaded again.

Q5. Do I need to specify the project name and purpose accurately?

A5. Yes. Clear and specific project names help ensure license accuracy and prevent misuse.

Good Examples:

  • “2025 H1 IR Deck”
  • “Internal Training – Sales Enablement”
  • “Brand Campaign Presentation”

Avoid overly broad or ambiguous names whenever possible.

Q6. Can I edit a project name, or do I need to create a new project?

A6. Project names cannot be edited.
GoodPello does not provide a project-name editing feature because:

  • The project name is included exactly as registered in the issued license document
  • For integrity and traceability, it must remain unchanged

If you want to change the project name, you must register a new project.

When a new project registration is required

Create a new project if:

  • The purpose of use changes
  • The target audience changes (internal → external, client changes, etc.)
  • The client or ownership of the presentation changes
  • You simply want to rename or reorganize the project

When a new project is not required

If only the expression of the project title differs while the actual purpose remains the same, you may continue using the existing project:

Examples:

  • Translating the name
“Investor Deck 2025” → “Pitch para Inversores 2025”
  • Adding a year or version
“Internal Strategy Deck” → “2025 Internal Strategy Deck”

Note:
The displayed project name will not update, and no new license will be issued for such cosmetic changes.
