VAT & Tax Guidelines

Q1. Does VAT or sales tax vary by country?

A1. Yes. GoodPello applies VAT, GST, or sales tax depending on the billing country or region associated with your account.
Taxes are calculated automatically during checkout according to local tax regulations.

Below are the regions where taxes may apply:
Regions with VAT/GST
▶ European Union (EU): VAT is charged based on your EU member state.
▶ United Kingdom: VAT applies to digital services.
▶ Australia: GST applies to digital products.
▶ New Zealand: GST applies to digital products.
▶ Canada: GST/HST may apply depending on the province.
▶ South Korea: 10% VAT is applied to all digital services.

United States (US)
▶ The US does not charge VAT. However, state-level sales tax may apply depending on your ZIP code.

Some states tax digital services, others do not.
Paddle automatically determines the correct amount at checkout.
