Anyone, once in a lifetime, must have experienced fear and stress occurring while preparing for a presentation and fear coming from giving presentation.
There are so many books and references related to ‘successful presentation’, but it doesn’t take care of fear towards presentation and preparation of presentation materials.
Good reference data and books seem to slip away because of anxiety about the preparation of presentation.
Let’s talk about two 3P for [Presentation Tips] that can be remembered easily.
The first 3P means,
[3 analysis] of keys for successful presentation.

❶ Purpose ❷ People ❸ Place
❶ Purpose [Purpose Analysis]
Must analyze “the purpose of presentation” precisely.
This is something that you will think of this as a matter of course, but also easily overlook.
– Is this presentation for product explanation?
– Is this presentation for promotional purposes?
– Is this presentation for detention of customers?
– Is this presentation for winning promotion?
You must have clear purpose and direction that you want to reach in order to gain the expected effects.
❷ People [Audience Analysis]
Presentations that even elementary school students can understand are good presentation?
Or, audiences are audiences and analyzing them closely can produce contrary results?
‘Knowing the opponent and myself will lead to victory’; this will never fail you in presentation.
Analyzing the characteristics of audiences, customers or partners attending in your presentation is very important. Prepare your presentation to meet your audiences level through audience analysis.
– Did you analyze the size and ages of your audiences?
– How much of knowledge do your audience have about this field?
– Who are the decision makers among audiences?
– Is this presentation a well-disposed to audiences?
❸ Place [Place Analysis]
Even though you have perfectly prepared your presentation materials, people can’t pay attention to your presentation if any issue occurs regarding the presentation place.
And the presenter will be stumped by the situation.
Unexpected issues and situations seem to come and find me on the very important presentation day.
Sometimes you may have to change your presentation materials according to the size and environment of presentation place, location where the presenter is standing and etc.
In addition, you have to check and analyze the cooling and heating system of the place, noise coming in through windows, internet availability, speaker and microphone and etc. in order to finish your presentation successfully.

Approach everything that you see with eyes, like clothes, looks on face and etc., as you see a drawing.
A drawing tells you one subject that must be told. Then, why drawing?
It’s because people tend to react more sensitively to what they see and therefore remember images or feelings better.
In another words, imaging of a subject is the most effective presentation.
❷ Purpose [The purpose is to persuade audiences]
Pay attention to your opponent and edit and add your presentation ; this will make your presentation more persuasive.
Know your audience well and edit your message according to them.
❸ Practice [Practice makes skills]
Being completed is only possible through ‘practice’.
The only way to prevent from being speechless from being nervous is continuous practice.
Keep practicing aloud as if you are in a real situation, and it will help you speak well.
