Good Pello (“Good Pello”, “we”, or “us”) understands that you care how your information is collected, used and shared, and regards personal information of users as important and informs them of the purpose and method of our use of the personal information provided by the users through this Policy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect the minimum amount of essential information required for becoming a member of Good Pello and using our digital contents services, how the information will be used, and how you can control the collection, correction and/or deletion of information. The information provided by members (“you”) shall not be used for any purpose other than what is stated in this policy, and will not be used or shared with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Collection and Use of Personal Information

“Good Pello collects personal information when you register for a User Account on the website, subscribe to newsletter, update personal information, make payments, sending 1:1 inquiries, reporting copyright infringements and etc. The personal information you provide us at the time of such actions mentioned above are your name, e-mail address, location (country), social network account information linked with Good Pello service and etc. The information collected is used for the purposes described hereafter:

    Notification on service use: Good Pello uses your personal information (including name, e-mail address, payment history) to inform you of the information required for using Good Pello’s services.

    Responding to Inquiries and Reports: We collect and retain all information that you provide when sending 1:1 inquires or reporting copyright infringement including all contents and information provided and used related to this. We may retain the content of your email messages, your email address and our responses.

    PR and Marketing: We send out e-mails including newsletters on a regular basis to members who have agreed to receive information via email.

    Statistics and Analysis: Only technical data including browser and operating system (OS) shall be collected for statistics and analysis purposes. Corresponding information are encrypted to prevent from identifying an individual member and are only used for statistical purposes to improve the services of Good Pello.

    Tracking Illegal and Faulty Login: IP address may be saved to manage members who access Good Pello through illegal routes. If suspicious login is detected, the data shall be reported for illegal use pursuant to the data relevant Act and subordinate statute relevant, and the IP will be blocked once proved to be illegal.

    Retaining and Using information after termination or deactivation of your User account: Even after you cancel your account at Good Pello, we may retain your profile information and user content for commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, or audit purposes. Furthermore, we may retain and continue to use indefinitely all information contained in your communications to other Users, authors or Good Pello admins or all information posted to public or semi-public areas of the service after termination or deactivation of your User account.

2. Disclosure and Transfer of Personal Information

Good Pello does not disclose or provide your personal information to a third party without your consent. However, Good Pello may release the information when required to so by law or subpoena or if we believe that such action is necessary to (a) conform to the law, comply with legal process served on us or our affiliates, or investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities; (b) to enforce our Terms of Use, to investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, to assist government enforcement agencies, or to protect the security or integrity of our site; and (c) to exercise or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Good Pello, our users or others.

We may share disclose or share non-personally identifiable information, such as anonymous usage data, platform types, number of clicks and etc., with interested third parties to help them better understand the usage patterns for certain Good Pello services.

In addition, Good Pello may ask for prior consent from the members by notifying via e-mail when intend to provide members’ personal information to partners for better and diverse services.

We care about the integrity and security of your personal information, however, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Good Pello or guarantee that your information on the service may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical or managerial safeguards. We are not responsible for the functionality or security measures of any third party including social networks.

To protect your privacy and security, we take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting your access to your account. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information, and for controlling access to your email communications from Good Pello at all times. Also to secure data, Good Pello asks members to log out and close the browser windows after using the services.

5. Web Tracking Tools

Good Pello website uses Google Analytics (web log analysis service) provided by Google. Google Analytics uses a small piece of text file saved in the user’s computer called “cookies” (including IP address) and analyzes the way the user explores the website, and these are used to perform effective marketing activities. All the data of the account remains confidential and are under the confidentiality provisions of Google’s Privacy Policy. Information provided by you shall be used for the sole purpose related to operation of Good Pello services. Good Pello will retain your Personal Information as long as it may be required by us to provide you our services and/or as necessary to comply with your legal obligations and to resolve any disputes.

You may decline to submit personally identifiable information through the service, in which case Good Pello may not be able to provide certain services to you. You may update or correct your account information and email preferences at any time by logging in to your account settings pages.
